PN suspende a cuatro agentes que agredieron a supuesto delincuente

La Policía Nacional informó este domingo que suspendió e investiga a cuatros agentes que aparecen en un video golpeando con un látigo a un supuesto ladrón.

Durante el hecho, que sucedió en la comunidad de Sabana Yegua, provincia Azua,  se observa a dos agentes propinando latigazos, al tiempo que le reprochaban al hombre que no continuara cometiendo robos en la zona.

“Nuestra Policía Nacional siempre defenderá a sus hombres siempre y cuando no incurran en acciones que violen los derechos de los ciudadanos, como indica la ley”, indicó la institución del orden en un comunicado.

Agregó que en lo adelante, estará informando sobre los resultados de la citada investigación y las sanciones pertinentes.

“Desde la Dirección General de nuestra Policía Nacional se motiva a la ciudadanía denunciar cualquier hecho en que se violen los derechos de cualquier ciudadano”, afirmó.
